In this release too, we are adding a lot of new things and have improved or fixed other things. You can find the changes we are pushing to all SaaS customers on Wednesday night below!

What have we added?

  • [General] PDF files can now be opened in the same preview as images. We will find out if we can also do this for more files, such as EML files (e-mails).
  • [General] Of all variables, the 'old value', as stored (before actual saving) in the database is now also available. This allows you to set in the conditions of a trigger, for example, that the trigger in question is only fired if a specific field modifies of content. You can use these 'old' variables by adding the postfix '.old' to the variable.
    Example: ${ticket.statusID.old}
  • [General] Ref fields are now also kept up-to-date through background tasks.
  • [Actions & Triggers] It is now also possible to generate a notification (both within Neo4Z and push) from an action.
  • [Tickets] From now on, you can save filters within the tickets module and share them with colleagues. This allows you to easily manage and share overviews that meet your set conditions. For example, "Show all open tickets of customer X". This entire functionality is still in the BETA phase, but we don't expect any bugs to appear yet. In the next release, we will continue with this functionality and plan to apply these filtering options everywhere.
  • [Tickets] If enabled, the mobile version now also shows the linked milestone on the index page of tickets.
  • [Tickets] The 'modal' of a milestone now shows KPIs that also work well on a smartphone or tablet.
  • [Tickets] Tickets can now be automatically archived after a configurable number of years. By default, this setting is set to 7 years.
  • [Organisations] We have added new widgets to the dashboard that show, for example, the number of suppliers, customers, prospects or administrators.
  • [Datasets] Within the datasets module, in the 'schema editor' you can now delete fields. For security reasons, however, you have to delete authorised to be.
  • [Portal] The portal now displays the most recent news item 'unfolded'. This makes it even better and easier for your users to keep abreast of the latest news.
  • [Forms / Portal / Automations] It now tracks how often a form or page has been used and when the last time was. This makes it easier to estimate whether it is still being used.
  • [Automations] Flows can now also be optionally approved or rejected by the team members linked to the relevant form.
  • [Automations] Forms can now also be published on the portal after which they also fully perform their work.
  • [Accounting] The expiry date and a title are now optional to set.
  • [Accounting] From now on, it is also possible to create an invoice in Dollars (USD).
  • [Accounting] The format of the invoice number can now be set through the administrator settings.
  • [Accounting] A default validity period of an invoice can now be set for each account.
  • [Accounting / Datasets] If you have the 'accounting' and 'datasets' module, you can now specify a default description for an invoice within the schema settings of datasets. This is then copied one-to-one on the invoice (PDF). You can use variables to show the content of an object.
  • [Application management / Base registrations / Wiki] More extensive filtering options have been added which, like all other modules that already had this option, are remembered in your personal settings.
  • [Wiki] It is now possible to specify which fields are mandatory from the administrator settings.

What did we change or fix?

  • [General] The login page is now also easy to use on an Ipad / Tablet in both landscape and portrait modes.
  • [General] In many cases, the database ID of an object was not available in the variables.
  • [Organisations] The tabs to switch to locations or spaces were also visible when using only the 'Organisations' option.
  • [Tickets] Practitioners are now also sorted alphabetically while filtering by practitioner.
  • [Tickets] Tickets linked to a major ticket were not visible from the 'parent/major ticket'.
  • [Accounting] The font has been changed to a more readable font.
  • [Actions & Triggers] The wrong triggers were at the wrong actions on the index of the relevant page.

For a more comprehensive overview of all changes and additions, see the changelog within Neo4Z. You can find it in the footer, via the page 'About Neo4Z‘.
