In this release, in addition to major tickets, we are bringing the items below to our SaaS environments. As every week, we are pushing these to all customers tonight after office hours.

What's new?

  • The dark sidebar (known from admin) is now optional everywhere. To do so, go to Personal settings > sidebar.
  • It is now possible to disable changing Neo4Z passwords, in case an openID provider is used for login (Single Sign On).
  • The 'tags' column is now also selectable in the index of tickets.
  • Within the system log, we have added options to filter by category and status. The log entries are also searchable using the familiar search bar.
  • Mailing a response to a submitter within a ticket has changed. From now on, the subject and recipient (e-mail address) can be changed. We will soon also come up with the option to attach attachments here.
  • From now on, it is possible to mark a ticket as a major ticket, for major(s) problems, for example. Of course, you can link other tickets to the major ticket at the push of a button. When linking, all fields except the submitter are inherited from the parent major ticket.
  • We have added a new module, a Wiki. As the name suggests, it allows you to build a knowledge base within Neo4Z. This module can be enabled for free. Interested in this module? Send a mail to support and we will enable it for you immediately!
  • From now on, code blocks within reactions etc. will have line numbers.

What has changed?

  • The My Account -> Personal Settings user interface has changed to a tab-based interface.
  • The history tab has been cleaned up slightly and now shows the display name instead of a user's username.
  • Groups and teams are (if enabled) on separate tabs within user management.
  • Various other minor changes to the user interface.

What have we solved?

  • In some cases, ref fields were stored as NULL (and were therefore empty).
  • The paperclip (to indicate that an object or ticket contains attachments) was incorrectly listed under applications.
  • It was impossible to edit standard texts.
  • Unsafe characters were double-encoded which resulted in unreadable characters.
