A integrated solution for participants and customers of Parkstad-IT.

Parkstad-IT operates in the southeast of Limburg, a cooperation between mainly municipalities, such as: municipality of Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, Brunssum, Beekdaelen, Voerendaal, Simpelveld as well as Het Gegevenshuis and Veiligheidsregio Zuid-Limburg. Parkstad-IT looks after the common IT interests of these organisations and furthermore it is responsible for the ICT services of other local governments. Parkstad-IT serves a total of 8 participants and 17 other customers involving 5,000 employees and around 4,000 workplaces.

The purpose for which Parkstad-IT uses Neoforce: to make and keep an overview of the entire application landscape and the cohesion/links between all applications, databases, servers, certificates, suppliers and administrators.

Approach

From the flexible set-up, an application was quickly delivered that allows all persons involved to quickly and clearly see, with one click, in a graphical way what is connected to what and how.

In practice, the people involved are usually IT administrators or managers and receive a clear application from Neoforce that always gives them live insight into the data on which Parkstad-IT embroiders. With the tool, the administrators can and may also, among other things, make changes themselves and keep their own piece up to date.

Of course, in doing so, they can only manage their own organisation's data. Parkstad-IT keeps control of this. The helpdesk has also been helped; they can now help users properly because they know who is responsible for what and when.
